My brother\u2019s time in life was filled with moments of exceptional beauty and also marked with moments of incredible humility. I will tell our daughter when she is young that her uncle was a complicated man \u2013 my brother who I still love dearly. And that I wish she would have known my brother, especially when he was at his best and brightest, because that\u2019s who I love most to remember. I will not ignore the difficulties he and I faced together because the truth and history of our relationship has occurred and explains the circumstances of his sudden passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My brother was diagnosed with a bipolar-related disorder. There was never any questios that at his core, he was an extraordinarily<\/em> good person.
